Hall Technique Crown

The Hall Crown Technique is a minimally invasive dental procedure used to treat decay in primary (baby) molars,  without the need for local anesthesia or tooth preparation. It involves sealing decay under a preformed stainless steel crown to prevent further damage and allow the tooth to naturally shed.  When the tooth is covered, the bacteria causing the decay has no food source or oxygen to survive, thus essentially stopping the progression of the decay.  Unlike traditional fillings, the Hall Technique doesn't require removing the decay from the tooth.
